Add X (Twitter) as a source

Add Twitter a source and collect content to your Flows

Updated over a week ago

Once you've connected your X account to Flowbox, you can start collecting content in three ways:

  • Mentions: collect public X media (images and videos) that @mentioned your connected X account.

  • Hashtag: collect public X media (images and videos) that include a specified hashtag.

  • Add a post feature: Collect one specific post by parsing the URL.

Adding Twitter as a source

We highly recommend connecting a source to only one Flow, preferably your Masterflow, and then distributing the posts to other Flows to avoid duplicates.

  1. Navigate to 'Visual Marketing' > 'Flows,' select the desired Flow

  2. Click on 'Settings' in the bottom-left menu.

  3. Click 'Create'.

  4. Select 'X/Twitter' as the social media platform to fetch content from.

  5. Select the type of source (Hashtag or Mentions).

  6. By turning off the "Require Approval" button, all your content will be sent directly to the Approved tab in Flow. Ensure you only disable this if you have the rights from content creators for all the collected content

  7. Click 'Create'.

From now on, all new X/Twitter content will now appear in the Inbox of this Flow and can easily be approved and used for your Flows.

Want to fully explore the potential of X? You can add a specific X/Twitter post to your Flow or publish a post directly on X/Twitter."

In order to add Twitter as a source, you need to have already connected your Twitter account to Flowbox.
