Text

Only has text copy and no other attachments. The text can include clickable hyperlinks. If a link generates a link preview card filled with metadata about the link, the post is rather considered a 'Link Post' as described below.

Single-image

Has one image file attached.

Multi-image

Has more than one image file attached.

Album

Has multiple images that get added to an Album on Facebook.

GIF

Has an animated GIF file attached.

Video

Has a video file attached.

Link post

Has a link preview card filled with metadata about the attached link. Bear in mind that links can also be added in the text of a post, without generating a link preview card. Only posts with a link preview are considered link posts.

Link-carousel

A Carousel post consisting of links with link preview cards. Users can flip through the cards like a carousel.

Image-carousel

A Carousel post that consists of images, instead of link preview cards. Users can flip through the images like a carousel. This format is currently not supported in Flowbox due to API restrictions.

Story

Stories are image or video posts that are displayed in a slideshow format, separate from your main content feed.

File requirements

These are the supported formats and file sizes:

  • Media size: up to 8MB for images and up to 100MB for videos.

  • Media format: .jpeg for images, .mp4 and .mov for videos.

  • Aspect ratio: within 4:5 to 1.91:1 for images and 4:5 to 16:9 for videos.

  • Video duration: minimum 3s and maximum 60s.
