Flows and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
Our mission is to help you create a more inspiring shopping experience for your customers, including those with disabilities. Therefore we strive to make our Flows have Level AA compliant functionalities with features such as alt-text, in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, furthermore to be in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Flowbox Flow themes
When you create a new Flow and select the theme Grid, Carousel or Cards, it’s designed to default be optimized for accessibility. However, the guidelines can change over time so make sure you are up to date with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to ensure your Flow meets the acceptance criteria to the level you need to be compliant with.
Customization
Bear in mind that applying custom CSS to your Flows, such as low contrast colors and/or enabling infinite scroll or auto-play on videos may reduce accessibility. If in doubt, refer to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA) for best practices.
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
Flowbox's website and platform are designed with the aim of being compatible with the latest browser versions.
Please note that if your Flow was created before 31st of March 2021, it will not have our updated default settings and may not be compliant with ADA.
