By embedding the Flowbox checkout script on your ecommerce site, you will be able to track and measure KPIs including your conversion rate, assisted order share and your sales directly attributable to Flowbox. You can read more about our Commerce insights and analytics here.
Before you begin
The first step is making sure that you fulfill these requirements:
You have the Commerce product enabled and a Product Catalog uploaded to Flowbox.
You have collected posts with assigned products to them in "Moderate".
You have your individual Checkout Script API Key. Ask your Client Success Manager about this.
App Installation
In order to integrate the Checkout Script, you will need to download and install the following App from VTEX App Store: Flowbox Checkout.
Implementing the Checkout script
After installing the Flowbox Checkout App, go to "Apps > My Apps" and access the "Settings" section for the "Flowbox Checkout" App. You will see the following fields:
API Key: enter your API key you received during the onboarding. If you don't have it at hand, please contact your Customer Success Manager and they'll provide it for you.
Product Identifier: select the product identifier that matches the one that has been used in order to import your products in your Flowbox Catalog.
β
The available options are:SKU
SKU Reference ID
Product ID
EAN
Reference
Slug
In case of doubt, please check the "Products" section in your Flowbox account and compare the product's identifiers with the product data you have available in VTEX's Admin panel under the "Catalog > Products & SKUs" section. You need to choose the identifier that matches in both VTEX and Flowbox.
One both fields are completed, click on "Save" to save the changes. This finishes the Checkout Script integration.
How to make sure that your Checkout Script is working
Once embedded, we strongly recommend that you carry out a test order to verify the connection. Once the test order has been placed, you will need to wait for 24hrs to see if the purchase has been registered in Flowbox. You should see data registered in your Commerce Insights menu.
If it doesn't seem to work, please perform the troubleshooting process detailed in the following guide to confirm that it's working:
