Historical data after connecting a source

This article will explain how much historical data is collected in Flowbox once a new source has been connected.

Updated over a week ago

When you connect a source to Flowbox, the platform will automatically import some historical data. The amount and the type of data that will be collected depend on the social media channel and the type of content.

This article will explain what historical data is collected from each social media source.

Facebook

  • Max 100 posts are fetched initially.

  • No comments are collected or stored.

Twitter

  • Max posts fetched initially depends on your subscription plan. For more details about your specific plan, please contact our customer support team.

Instagram

  • At most 200 posts are fetched initially.

  • Flowbox cannot fetch historic Instagram stories due to API restrictions. No historic posts are collected where the user was mentioned.

  • Hashtag posts older than 24 hours cannot be collected.

  • No comments are fetched or stored except when we receive a comment on a rights request.

  • You can query a maximum of 30 unique hashtags on behalf of an Instagram Business User (and per Flowbox account) within a rolling 7-day period. Once you query a hashtag, it will count against this limit for 7 days. Subsequent queries on the same hashtag within this time frame will not count against your limit, and will not reset its initial query 7 day timer.

  • Personally identifiable information will not be included in responses: [usernames, profile pictures and the publication date].

  • You cannot comment on hashtagged media objects discovered through the Flowbox platform.

  • Emojis in hashtag queries are not supported. You cannot search for '#Flowbox💙', only '#Flowbox'.

  • Posts that have been marked 'private' by the user will not be collected due to API restrictions. Even if you are following a private account, Flowbox will not collect this content as the user has not allowed it to be public.

Youtube

  • Max 50 posts initially.

Pinterest

  • Max 200 pins fetched initially.

RSS

  • Max 200 items initially.
